Qualifier Registration - Five Qualifying Tournaments to be held in December and January. You can register for one or two at this time!  Information and registration on our website at this link. (http://ftc.umcmse.com/2015-16-qualifier-registration/)

Training Opportunities - We're currently working on setting up different centralized locations for JAVA programming training. Also teams are able and eager to help everyone else succeed this year. You should collaborate on hosting a scrimmage or practice day and pool resources.

Arkansas FTC Championship - December 4-5, 2015 in Mountain Home, AR. Open for Wait List teams from outside Arkansas. Register at this link (http://arkansasftc.org/championship-registration.html) and possibly earn a spot to the South Super Regional (like FTC #3486 has done the past two years).

** Kickoff Presentations and Announcements

Some items of interest that you should be aware (in case you missed it, or forgot) from Kickoff:

Student Team Registration - ALL team members MUST be registered this year. Students register on the STIMS page (https://my.usfirst.org/stims/) and specify their team. Students will create an account and have the Consent & Release (C&R) form electronically signed.  Coaches: You MUST bring a copy of your team roster (retrieved from your TIMS account (https://my.usfirst.org/ftc/tims/site.lasso) ) to all events to show members that have signed C&R forms on file.

Dean's List - The Dean's List honors students' achievements throughout their FTC/FIRST career. Students are nominated by their team (up to two) and are interviewed and selected by Judges at Qualifiers.  At the Mississippi Championships, we will select two Finalists to represent the state at the FIRST Championship in St. Louis. Nominations are done through TIMS and MUST be uploaded at least 3 weeks before each qualifier. Details are available at the national FTC web site. T-Shirt Design Competition - Hey Students! Design the Mississippi Championship Volunteer T-Shirt!!
1. Design could be on front, back, or both sides
2. Limit is 5 colors (plus shirt color)
3. Must incorporate the Game logo, the FTC logo, and one of the UM logos (Lyceum, CMSE, or script)
4. Deadline for designs is November 30, 2015.  Submit them via our website at this link. (http://ftc.umcmse.com/2015/10/10/2015-16-volunteer-t-shirt-design-contest/)
5. Voting will be done via the Internet and by the Planning Committee
6. Prizes will be shirts given to the winning team (limit of 18 shirts).  These will be printed on a different color shirt.  Sizes needed by 12/31/15.
